Dr. Tania Leski

Chiropractor

Dr. Tania Leski is our principal Chiropractor and has over 10 years of clinical Chiropractic experience. She has a passion for health, fitness and wellbeing, having been an elite gymnast for most of her young life. She has worked with athletes in local community sporting clubs, as well as treating gymnasts at the Victorian Institute of Sport in Prahan. Dr Leski is a holistic practitioner who believes in treating the whole spine and body. She has experience with treating people of all ages, offering Chiropractic treatment and home care advice, that include a personalised rehab program / long term pain management advice. She is focused on treating acute pain, posture dysfunction, pregnancy, paediatrics and headaches.

Tania has completed additional seminars since gradating from RMIT University with an Undergraduate and Masters Degree, and is studied in the application of chiropractic for infants and children, the treatment of childhood behavioural conditions, organic adjustment protocols, TMB, kinesiology, sports chiropractic, therapy for acute musculoskeletal pain, and applied activator adjusting. She brings experience and focused treatment skills to her visits, in order to help every patient with alleviating pain and restoring function.

Dr. Matthew Samartzis

Dr Matthew Samartzis is passionate about aiding human function through exercise, rehabilitation, positive thinking, and chiropractic care. He has a focus is on research and evidence-based practice. Whether poor musculoskeletal function, poor energy or improving overall health and general wellbeing. Dr. Matthew is dedicated to helping patients to create change, and tailors his visits to achieve this. He treats based on the individual presentation and patient needs. With the aim to develop a holistic treatment plan, that will address specific pain areas. Dr Matthew will also target muscle groups that require strengthening, support. stretching, release and ongoing rehabilitation.

Dr Matthew enjoys assessing patient symptoms, and offers specific treatment that utilises and incorporating adjusting, corrective exercises, behaviour modification and a variety of treatment techniques within the scope of practice. He is dedicated to ensuring that patients respond well to therapy and has experience treating neck and back pain, headaches, sports injuries, extremity conditions. Dr. Matthew is excited to offer treatment for shoulder, wrist, hip, knee and ankle pain or dysfunction, and encourages anyone in pain, or those looking to increase mobility to come in and see him. He wants to help everyone to direct their life towards a healthier path, and achieve their long term health goals.

Dr. Alec Mulqueeney

Osteopath

Alec is the newest practitioner here at Chirocure. He is our new resident Osteopath who will be working alongside our other practioners to deliver the best care possible for you. Alec's interest in osteopathy stems from his heavy involvement in sports, particularly basketball, football, and swimming. His extensive background in sports provides him with a unique perspective on the human body, and he uses this knowledge to help his clients achieve their health and fitness goals.

In his treatment room, Alec utilizes his keen interest in sports and his fascination with the human body to provide his clients with a holistic approach to their healthcare. He is committed to working closely with his clients to understand their specific needs and goals, and he uses his knowledge and expertise to develop personalized treatment plans that address their individual concerns.

Due to his background Alec loves working with athletes and younger clients to help them on their paths to recovery and build upon good practice to help better themselves for the future. Alec employs a wide range of techniques including soft tissue, manipulation and dry needling in his consults to help tailor his treatments to each individual patients needs.

Kiyomi Sato

Kiyomi is a qualified Remedial Massage therapist, who has over 2 years of clinical experience treating patients. She is also studying a Diploma of clinical aromatherapy and Myotherapy.

Kiyomi offers a Japanese perspective to Massage, with strengths in thoughtfulness and caring. She listens carefully to her clients and offers deep tissue, trigger point, and relaxation to the body and mind to reduce discomfort, pain and stress.

Kiyomi aims to improve body function to improve the quality of life and promote a healthy lifestyle.

Danielle Mosley

Massage

Danielle has over 8 years of experienced as a qualified massage therapist, with a diploma in Massage, Certificate V in Massage therapy and graduated with distinction from her course She enjoys specialising in assessing patients symptoms and offering support to areas of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, by utilising and incorporating home exercise and rehabilitation exercises into her sessions, that compliment the various treatment techniques and muscle release therapies applied during her treatment sessions.

Dani is passionate and focuses her treatments towards relieving and preventing muscle pain and tension. She includes several massage treatment techniques within her appointments, that will help to target long term muscle release and encourage optimal function.

including; muscle stripping, cupping therapy, functional cupping (ASTM), myofascial release, mobilisation, stretching therapy, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, cross friction muscle release, inflammation relief, pregnancy specific massage, and relaxation techniques.

She has seen patients respond very well when treating headaches, migraine, TMJ, sciatica, nerve pain, stiffness, aching, stress, anxiety, sleep disturbance, chronic pain conditions, and is excited to offer treatment to patients with pain in the neck, back, hips, gluts, shoulders, elbows, wrists, head, knee and ankles.
